Curly & Spike was started by the owners of JWT Kids Gym, Philomena and Andrew Cannon-Brookes. The inspiration behind this concept has been their own children. “When my children were much younger, I remember the challenges we had in trying to get our children to stay still for their hair-cuts. The whole experience either resulted in them having a tantrum or me being reduced to a nervous wreck!”, says owner, Philomena |
Cannon-Brookes. Being the owner of another children’s business, JWT Kids Gym, she knew that her experience in dealing with kids could be definitely leveraged in developing this concept. All this goes back to her firm belief, that children should have a positive environment to build up their self-esteem and confidence and what better way to expand on that notion by developing a children only hair salon & spa! |
